This Payment Policy explains checkout for the one-time physical coaster products offered by Plvqx. Our default checkout payment provider is Shopify Payments.
The displayed product price covers the exact coaster quantity and holder expressly listed on that product page. A four-piece ceramic set with one holder and a six-piece cork set without a holder are different package definitions even if a photograph uses similar tabletop styling. Decorative cups, tables, food, plants, or other scene props are not purchased unless the package list explicitly names them. Buying a set is a one-time physical-goods transaction: it does not create a subscription, refill plan, rental, material-care service, warranty extension, or recurring membership. Taxes, shipping, currency, and the final order total are shown at checkout before authorization so the customer can stop and correct the cart before submitting payment.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
Shopify Payments-supported cards and digital wallets that are currently enabled are displayed at checkout.
Only payment methods currently shown at checkout are available for the order, and the storefront payment icons must match those active methods. Available cards or eligible digital wallets are limited to the methods currently presented by Shopify Payments at checkout. The store does not accept payment by mailed cash, cheque, informal transfer, gift-card code sent through support, or a payment link supplied outside the official checkout. A holder identified as included is not billed as a separate accessory; a holder not listed as included is not silently added to the charge. Ordering two sets creates two product quantities in the cart rather than changing the stated number of coasters inside one set. Customers should verify the SKU, set quantity, material, color, and cart count before authorization.
SSL ENCRYPTION & DATA PROTECTION
Transactions are submitted through Shopify Payments using encrypted checkout connections. Sensitive payment credentials remain within Shopify's protected payment environment.
This electronic encryption helps protect transaction data while the card issuer and Shopify Payments complete authorization.
PCI-DSS COMPLIANCE LEVEL 1
Shopify maintains Level 1 PCI-DSS compliance for its payment environment. Our store receives the transaction status and order information needed to process the purchase.
NO CREDIT CARD STORAGE
We do not collect, store, or have access to complete card numbers or card security codes. Payment credential verification is handled by Shopify Payments and the relevant financial institution.
TRANSACTION CURRENCY & TRANSPARENCY
All prices on our website are listed and charged in United States dollars, shown with the $ symbol and USD currency code. The total final price, including applicable shipping costs, will be clearly itemized and displayed at the checkout page before you authorize payment. At checkout, Standard Shipping: $0.00 USD and Tax: $0.00 USD. We never charge any hidden processing fees, handling fees, or unannounced taxes.
Payment Authorization and Capture
Authorization applies to the complete cart total shown at checkout, not to each cork disc, silicone piece, ceramic coaster, or included holder as a separate micro-transaction. Processing begins only after Shopify Payments reports a successful authorization. A bank or wallet may temporarily show a pending amount during review; that status is not a second coaster order and does not mean the parcel has shipped. If a customer changes the cart after a failed attempt, the final successful order confirmation is the record used for fulfillment.
Billing Information
Customers must provide accurate billing information. Orders may be delayed or canceled if billing details cannot be verified, payment is declined, or fraud review is required.
Failed or Pending Payments
If payment fails or remains pending, the order may not be processed. Customers may need to contact their bank, card issuer, or payment provider to resolve payment issues.
Fraud Review
A coaster order may be held briefly when billing details, order velocity, device signals, address information, or issuer response indicate possible unauthorized activity. Review is directed at transaction security and is not based on a customer's beverage choices or home décor. We may ask the buyer to confirm limited order details through the official support channel, but we will not request a complete card number, card security code, online-banking password, or one-time authentication code by email. If authorization cannot be validated, the order may be canceled and any captured amount returned through the original payment route.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Shopify Payments. Bank, card issuer, or wallet processing times may vary after the refund is submitted.
TAXES AND DUTIES
No taxes, duties, or other government charges are added to the order at checkout. The Tax field displays $0.00 USD. Customers pay only the product total shown before payment because standard shipping is also $0.00 USD.
